Description: The 1734-IB2 input module is a sink type of input module. It has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation in the Point I/O 1734 product line. The 1734-IB2 sink input module connects to other devices in an industrial system through its 2 sink inputs. When this input module is mounted on its designated base, the keyswitch on the base needs to be in position 1 to allow the input module to lock securely into place on the base. Additionally, the 1734-IB2 sink input module should not be inserted or removed under power because this can cause an electrical arc in any environment and it can cause a fire or explosions in hazardous environments.
